Released in 2019, this celebration of 50 years of Scottish Ballet inspired the Master Whisky Maker, Gordon Motion, to produce a flavour profile as rich and dramatic as ballet itself. With only 5,000 bottles of Scottish Ballet 50 released, each sale supports the delivery of the national dance company’s outreach programme, engaging diverse communities across Scotland.

Bottled at 40%, Scottish Ballet 50 has been matured in first-fill sherry seasoned American oak casks and a smaller quantity of refill casks, to reveal sweet notes of caramelised pineapple, Madeira cake and spiced aniseed; it finishes with a dramatic flourish of aromatic peat smoke.
