Diplomático Selección de Familia is the newest member of the Diplomático family – a super-premium rum born from the passion and expertise of Diplomático’s master blenders. A blend of sugar cane honey and molasses-based rums, it follows a rigorous blending process and is aged for up to 12 years in American white oak, ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks. This results in a rich, spicy and complex sipping rum with intense aromas of vanilla, toffee, red fruits and oak. Ideal neat or on the rocks, this is one for the discerning rum-lover.

Selección de Familia is a drier, spicier and even more complex product than Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva and at 43% ABV,  has an intense flavour whilst retaining Diplomático’s signature smoothness. Selección de Familia has been launched to meet the increasing demand for more complex and spicier rums and is best enjoyed neat or over ice.
