Opened in 1967, the present-day Tower Hill station is located east of its original location on Mark Lane. The entrance to station is mere metres away from the largest remaining segment of London Wall – the Roman defensive wall which once surrounded the historic City of London. Rich with London history, the station is situated just to the north of the Tower of London moat and a stone’s throw away from Tower Bridge – one of London’s most iconic sights.
